Sisask’s Benedictio is a powerful and hypnotic re-imagining of a primordial runic song. Prauliņš Missa Rigensis, premiered in 2003, receives its second Australian performance in our concert.

Alfred Schnittke’s Choir Concerto is unquestionably one of the choral masterpieces of the 20th century. a setting of devotional poetry by the 10th-century Armenian monk Gregory of Narek, the Choir Concerto is music of staggering depth and range. Join a specially expanded Gloriana to revel in these incredible works.
